I have always wanted glasses, even back when I was a kid and it wasn't cool. I went so far as to fake my eye exam, but I guess I didn't fake it enough because to this day I still do not have or need glasses.

Sweet P & Sage: An Interview

I just found this interview with Sweet P & Sage Vaughn on the Coco & Kelley blog. Sweet P was always one of my favorites on Project Runway, but I especially enjoyed reading this interview which discusses the collaboration between herself and her husband, Sage on a limited edition collection for Pulp Lab. This all happened back in October of '08, but it was still fun to read, especially being the wife in a husband & wife collaboration like Every Little Counts.

Watching: Manhattan

I love Woody Allen, and Manhattan is one of my favorites. I hadn't seen it in awhile and I forgot how good it was; a story of love and loss set to the romantic backdrop of New York City. It doesn't get any better than that!

And now I will begin daydreaming of getting back to New York, back to where Adam and I met as two young kids in our twenties, just starting out in the world... ahhh

I think PJ Harvey might be my soulmate

I love her, I do. It is breaking my heart that I missed her play tonight at the El Rey in LA with John Parish. Lucky for me, I don't have to wait too much longer for the new album, "A Woman, A Man, Walked By", releasing March 31. In the meantime, I will be listening to her performance on KCRW from SXSW last week.

True Love: Frank and Vivian

My grandma, Vivian, recently passed away at the age of 90. While I was in Ohio last week for her funeral, I came across all of these old pictures I had never seen before. Isn't this photo amazing? I wonder where they were and what the occasion was. It looks very Rat Pack- like with the vinyl booth, the tuxedo, the petite cake. I just wish she were here to tell me the story.

I miss her tremendously. She gave a great hug, made a mean martini, and had more spunk than you could believe.
