A Charming Girl...

valentine's day is coming up, in case you haven't noticed. there is often a lot of negativity surrounding this "hallmark" holiday by people who are both in and out of love, but i love it. i love walking into a store surrounded by red and pink. i love chocolate, candy, and hearts... heart-shaped cookies, pancakes, pizza, whatever- i love it all.

personally, i think it is almost more fun not to have a valentine on valentine's day- or to have that valentine be your best friend, your dog, or your mom- all very "love worthy!" of course, i am married and i love my husband so very much, but i do miss those days of wallowing in it- watching sappy tearjerkers, daydreaming of whichever boy i happened to be crushing on, and gorging myself on junk food.
movies to make you cry: love story, lovers of the arctic circle, brief encounter, talk to her, splendor in the grass, the way we were, man in the moon.
what are your favorite tearjerkers?

(p.s. we also made "A Charming Girl" in a tank top...check it out here)

Hope you have a fab valentines day with your husband! How are you celebrating it?
And The Notebook has to be my ultimate romantic film. Or Twilight is quite a good modern one as well.
