watching: petulia

i recorded "petulia" the other day during the julie christie marathon on TCM. to be honest, i didn't really like the movie, maybe i just wasn't in the mood, but i couldn't stop watching it for the style and interiors alone.

petulia
1968, directed by richard lester
starring: julie christie, richard chamberlain, george c. scott

  2. i watched this movie just because i thought "petulia" is an awesome name... and that was only a few months ago and yet i hardly remember the plot at all - which shows how much i enjoyed it, haha. but! the sets & costumes were amazing. that i do remember / agree with you about.

also - my word verification phrase is "river rat" which is pretty great.

  3. I so miss TCM marathons! That's what is great about films from this era--even if the story or acting is bad, usually you can still enjoy the clothing and visuals. Have a great weekend!

I love Far From the Madding Crowd.
    Julie is a goddess.
My parents named me after a character in Dr. Zhivago.
How could I not tune in?

Thinking of you, will e-mail you scarf photos by Monday.
