My First Crush

it's not even 9am, but this morning has been a morning full of love. i stumbled upon this video by julia pott on efforescence, which put a smile on my grumpy, groggy face and has now become my new favorite thing. but there's more! before i saw this little video,  i thought this was my new favorite thing, and then this (via ducks like tea.)  i don't know about you, but crushing was one of my favorite past times...daydreams, letters, poetry, story writing. it is all now horrifically embarrassing but at the time it was so...serious.

Love and Nostalgia

I found these two photos of my parents on my last trip home. Even though I wasn't born yet, just looking at them makes me feel all warm and nostalgic. It also reminds me to start taking more picture in my own life.
