Hotter Than Hot

New to the vintage shop- a personal favorite of mine, the "Hotter Than Hot" sweatshirt. I love that whole layered sweat thing of the 80's. It always makes me think of Josh Brolin in the Goonies.

i've been obsessed with lindsey thornburg's cloaks since i first set eyes on them, but today marks the launch of her first ready to wear collection and i have a whole new obsession on my hands. does anyone else get an anais nin and june miller vibe? i like it.

Marguerite Duras is yet again the inspiration behind another collection- this one by Tucker. Designer, Gaby Basora stumbled upon some first editions by Duras at a bookshop and was instantly captivated, saying...

loving: a lover inspired collection

erin fetherston's resort '11 collection was inspired by the lover. so, of course i love it. although, to be honest, i am seeing only a subtle reference here, mainly with the straw bowler hats and that first dress. regardless, i like it.
