True Love: Frank and Vivian

My grandma, Vivian, recently passed away at the age of 90. While I was in Ohio last week for her funeral, I came across all of these old pictures I had never seen before. Isn't this photo amazing? I wonder where they were and what the occasion was. It looks very Rat Pack- like with the vinyl booth, the tuxedo, the petite cake. I just wish she were here to tell me the story.

I miss her tremendously. She gave a great hug, made a mean martini, and had more spunk than you could believe.

Lovely picture. Your right it does have rat-pack feel plus she made martini's she sounds fablous. Makes me think of old movie stars. I just love going through my families old pictures. They seemed to have such class and style.

I am sorry to hear to she passed away but a least you have such good memories of her.

Very sweet post Amy.I hope you are doing ok.

I found this quote once that helped me deal with grief over the death of a friend:

Life is eternal,; and love is immortal; and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.

I hope we see you guys soon!
