Watching: Play Misty for Me

I screamed. I laughed. At times I almost fell asleep, but all in all... worth it for the sheer campiness. It was Clint Eastwood's directorial debut afterall and filmed in the beautiful California coastal town of Carmel, where Eastwood would actually become mayor in 1986 (it's true!).

I've been meaning to watch this for years. My mother has mentioned it from the very first time she heard the Fugees covering Killing Me Softly...and every time it's played since then. She talks pretty highly of the movie, but then again this is a woman who considers 'Ghost Ship' to be one of her favorite films so I'm sometimes cautious. :)

Hehehe...yea, that's funny. You should definitely watch it, curl up on the couch with some wine, shriek, laugh...it'll be good.

Clint does look pretty sexy, despite embarrassing 70's wardrobe. Maybe that's what got your mom hooked ;)
