the criterion collection.

Over the last few years, we have been making our way through the Criterion Collection- the definitive list of important, classic & contemporary films. One day we will have the complete library. But just as important as the films themselves- is the cover art. Simply genius design. Thanks to Adam for bringing it to my attention...he is, after all, my in-house graphic design aficionado.

I love the criterion collection. I can't wait until they start making more blu-rays. (I've been spoiled.) I was just thinking yesterday how much I love the cover of A Woman Is A Woman. (I happened to blog that movie today too!)

My boyfriend and I have been making our way through these as well -- so many good films, it's mind-boggling. Pierre le Fou is one of my favorites! and you're right, the cover designs are amazing -- I never see them, because they always come through Netflix. Thanks for sharing!

Eyes Without a Face is one of my favorite movies ever.

I thought perhaps this was your wish-list!

I have "The Double Life of Veronique" for sale on half.com and no one has bought it yet...I hope no one ever does. No matter how poor and desperate times get, there are some things a girl can't do without.
