style icon: debbie harry

i don't know what took me so long to post this. duh, i love debbie harry. she is a punk goddess. in high school i wanted to dye my hair like hers, which...of course, did not fly with my mother and i was actually a little afraid of what would happen if i tried bleaching my dark hair. but anyway, i guess i haven't really be thinking about her or listening to her lately... it's actually been a long, long time. but seeing the video of blondie covering johnny cash (mentioned earlier) sort of sent a me a wake up call.

I just love her. I think she's one of the hottest rocker chicks this world's ever seen.

I dream of meet her in the Bowery in late 70s/early 80s sometimes. And Sunday Girl is my personal score. You know..."a girl from a lonely street, cold as ice cream but still as sweet"... ;-)

omg... she looks gorgeous with dark hair - I think that's the only image I've ever seen of her with dark hair.

She was one of the sexiest women that I have ever seen, her face also reminded me of young Michelle Pfeiffer.

Harry sometimes described her character in the band as being named "Blondie", as in this quote from the No Exit tour book, she was so beautiful, she was a sex symbol in USA!
