eee i've become a total exams monster so i haven't been able to roam around the internet as much as i like but i just read through all the posts i've missed (obviously now i'm going to fail my legal anthro exam this afternoon - go me) and you are as lovely and interesting as always. thanks for introducing me to ever more fascinating things/people/ideas/photos/etc, and thanks, always, for your kind, kind comments.

These are lovely. They remind me of the jewelery my great grandmother used to wear, bright and almost garish. When I was little I wanted to put the beads in my mouth because I was convinced they would taste wonderful.

oh, i wish i had the grandma that wore big costume jewelry. my grandma was the sweetest woman in the world, but she never wore jewelry- other than her very modest wedding band. i look forward to the days of being the weird, overly made up, glammed up grandma someday.
the best thing about grandma's jewelry is that it looked like candy...but smelled like grandma's perfume. Right? :)
